2007 New Year Resolutions

This was identical to the post   I put it here so that I can reference it every time.
It’s new year again and it’s time of the year to do a new set of resolutions. I looked through last year’s short goals which I have stopped writing it on 14 Nov 2006. so, I did a quick reviewed and decided to do something more realistic and measurable:

Resolution for year 2007

  • 1. Eat healthily
  • 2. Exercise regularly
  • 3. Generate passive income of USD$1000/month
  • 4. Take short holiday with family
  • 5. Take courses for upgrading
  • 6. Continue serving in church
  • 7. Help others
  • 8. Better relationship with my child.

So for my daily goal setting as a reminder, I shall write the following:

  • 1. I eat healthily and cut down on rice and meat
  • 2. I exercise regularly at least once a week
  • 3. I earn USD$1000/month passive income from my internet businesses
  • 4. I take short holiday with my family to Hong Kong Disneyland on 3 Sep 2007
  • 5. i do at least 1 short course every month
  • 6. I serve in the church throughout the year
  • 7. I help and teach others on internet business
  • 8. I have better relationship with my children.

I need some action plan and measurable yardstick to quantified my performance. I came out with the following for individual item:

  • 1. Eat Healthily
    • 1. Eat less rice
    • 2. Cut down on meat
    • 3. Eat more frequent
    • 4. Drink 2 liter of water daily
  • 2. Exercise regularly
    • 1. Basketball with brothers every Tuesday 5:00pm @ IE
    • 2. Climb up 2 flights of stairs daily
    • 3. Walk backward at my block every Sat 6:00am
  • 3. Earn USD$1000/month passive Income
    • 1. More hosting
    • 2. List on ebay every Tuesday
    • 3. Build 1 Adsense site every week
    • 4. Post 1 article daily
    • 5. Recruit more SU member
    • 6. Promote merlionaudio weekly
  • 4. Short Trip
    • 1. Holiday @ Hong Kong Disneyland with Family
  • 5. Short Course
    • 1. Read 1 book/month
    • 2. Audiobook while driving or taking MRT
    • 3. Attending seminar
  • 6. Serving Church
    • 1. Remain in Chinese Choir
    • 2. Admin Church Chinese Web site
    • 3. Build rosary site
    • 4. Build Inspirational Screen-saver
  • 7. Help others
    • 1. Teach ebay selling
    • 2. Teach Adsense
    • 3. Donate 20% of my income to church
    • 4. Buy tissue from aged
    • 5. Donate $1.00 to tin-can donor
  • 8. Better relationship with children
    • 1. Play with them
    • 2. Setup Shichida Timetable
    • 3. Setup Rewards system
    • 4. Setup Daily Timetable

Just in case if I can achieve all these before year end, here are some KIV items:

  • 1. Build 1 auto-pilot internet business every 3 months
  • 2. Buy 1 real estate every year
  • 3. Bring mom to Lourdes / Vatican / Rome
  • 4. Publish a book
  • 5. Make Choir CD
  • 6. Own a convertible beetle
  • 7. Loss and Found Outsource
  • 8. World of Warcraft
  • 9. Learn to Swim
  • 10. Travel to Japan
